Performs highly complex (senior-level) computers systems support work. IT lead position provides information technology support to Workforce Solutions for South Texas (WSST) contractor and board staff. Work involves overseeing the daily activities and coordinating the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of systems. Works directly with computer hardware and software, including installation, maintenance, and data recovery. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. Manage agency servers, resolve problems with computer systems, evaluate and optimize a system for effective performance and provide routine automation. Work involves overseeing WSST information technology systems and network, or mainframe environment. May supervise the work of others. Serves as first line of defense in cybersecurity.

Performs routine (journey-level) administrative, program supervisory and technical assistance work.Work involves assistance in planning, coordinating, and conducting oversight services to ensure that contractor staff comply with the terms of their contract and adhering to local, state and federal policies and regulations. Work involves assisting in establishing program goals and objectives; assisting in developing program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules and regulations; assisting in developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; and assisting in evaluating program activities.

Serco of Texas is hiring for the OPERATIONS MANAGER position.
In collaboration with the Project Director coordinates program and personnel matters with designated entities such as TWC, TDHS, TANF, etc.
Implement all workforce funding source rules and regulations as set by governing agencies including, but not limited to, Department of Labor (DOL), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Workforce Solutions for South Texas (WSST).

Provides a customer user-friendly environment at the career center.
Ensure that all areas of the Workforce Centers are operational.
