The RESEA program's purpose is to provide Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimant who are likely to exhaust their benefits with intensive employment services and valuable resources to assist them with getting back to work quickly.

The services consist of:

Orientation

The RESEA program has four purposes

  • Reduce UI duration through improved employment outcomes
  • Strengthen UI program integrity
  • Promote alignment with the vision of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
  • Establish RESEA as an entry point to other workforce system partners.

Outreach requirements

  • Workforce Staff will remind the customers of their scheduled RESEA appointment TWO business day before the customer’s appointment.

    • E-mail
    • By Telephone
  •  Workforce Staff will contact the RESEA customer within THREE business days from when the customer missed or cancelled their appointment.

Subsequent Meetings

  1. The first subsequent meeting will be provided withing two weeks (14 calendar days) after the initial RESEA appointment.
  2. The second subsequent meeting will be provided within two weeks (14 calendar days) after the first subsequent meeting.
