WSST Introduces Virtual Lab Stations for Convenient Access to Services

[Laredo, TX] – Workforce Solutions for South Texas, a nonprofit organization and leading provider of employment and childcare services, is excited to announce the launch of the Workforce Virtual Stations (WVS) located throughout the South Texas region. These WVS offer customers the opportunity to be connected via video with the staff at the Laredo center to receive the assistance they need in real-time.

With the introduction of these WVS, customers can now experience the same level of service and support as if they were physically present at our facilities. Our dedicated staff will be available to assist customers, answer their queries, and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a seamless experience.

The WVS is designed to bring our services closer to our customers, eliminating the need for long commutes or travel expenses. By establishing these convenient locations, we aim to make our services more accessible to individuals across the tri-area county of Jim Hogg, Webb, and Zapata.

The WVS was funded by the Innovation Grant awarded by the Texas Workforce Commission. The WVS is equipped with a study carrel, personal computer, camera, microphone, printer, scanner, headphones, and telephone, and also includes auxiliary aids and services for individuals with disabilities.
