WSST presents Strategic Plan to CEOs

Workforce Solutions for South Texas (WSST) plays a vital role in shaping workforce programs across Jim Hogg, Webb, and Zapata counties—overseeing strategic planning, administration, and program evaluation.
On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, WSST proudly presented its Strategic Plan 2025-2028 to the Chief Elected Officials: the Honorable Judge Joseph Rathmell from Zapata County and the Honorable Judge Tano E. Tijerina from Webb County.
Also in attendance were Rogelio Treviño, Executive Director; Sandra Barrera, Deputy Director; Bertha Millan, Workforce Supervisor / EO Officer / 504 Coordinator; Myrna Herbst, Executive Assistant; Eric Lagunes, IT; and Patricia Barrera, Project Director.
WSST remains committed to utilizing workforce development funds to support employment, training, childcare, and essential services—ensuring a stronger workforce for South Texas.
